Face Off Hockey Show

This week, the boys will discuss the Dustin Brown statue and what constitutes someone getting such an honor in the grand schemes of the game. They'll also chat about Jonathan Toews not wanting to stick around Chicago for their rebuild, Hockey Canada continues to behave bad, while Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey joins us to talk about the big deal between Florida and Calgary, as well as why people might be clamoring to be a Blue Jacket sooner than later. 

This one is a little heavy at times, as the boys talk about the heinous goings on with Hockey Canada and all of the garbage coming out about their business doings. They try to lighten it up with some Calgary Flames talk and end it with Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey trying to make up the best Coyotes' teams with the cap space left to make the Stanley Cup come to a college arena. 

This week, the Free Agent Frenzy has begun, with Johnny Gaudreau's loose definition of going home. We'll talk about the Ottawa Senators getting better very sneakily and after the death of their owner. Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey will recap all the madness, all the trades, all the things. 

This episode, the boys wrap up the 2022 NHL Draft with Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey. The trades, the shocking picks, the dismantling of the Chicago Blackhawks-- all in a two-day span. How did ESPN do?? Did the first round drag forever?? What's next for everyone?? 

This week, the boys look at the Draft that's coming up and what to expect there-- as well as ripping on the NHL's re-Drafting of certain years. There's some Memorial Cup discourse due to the host team winning the thing despite going out in the first round of their league, plenty of coaching and front office moves, and a look at 3ICE so far. All that, while Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey joins us ahead of the Draft on what to expect. 

This week, the boys talk about the new Cup champs and debate if this was the best playoffs in a while. The latest Hall of Fame class was named and we'll talk about them and why there's a need for more spots. Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey comes on to talk about the trades that could go down before the Draft, the Hockey Canada situation, and more. 

This week, the boys talk about the second screen experience that ESPN is putting out there for people and our look to change it. There's a lot of old faces going new places with the coaching carousel in full swings. Awards happened and we talk about the misses and more misses from the voting. Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey joins us to talk trade rumors ahead of the Draft and Free Agency period.
