Scotty Wazz was inundated with news and scores this week, as we welcome more women's teams to the fold. The Black Bears took on some familar foes this weekend, Team Maryland was all over the place with four games in the week, Navy's D1 swept, whereas the D2 team got swept. Towson got their first win of the year, while the Terps Men were playing in the Virginia Invitational, all as the Stevenson Mustangs tried to extend their win streak in New Jersey. All that, plus the Navy Women, Terps Women, Loyola Women, and Towson Women all in action this weekend, not to mention some players from Maryland getting their seasons started. Pack a lunch for this extended session. This week, Scotty Wazz will look over the weekend that was at the NAHL Showcase for the Maryland Black Bears, while at home-- Team Maryland continues to roll along in their second season of the EHL. Get on the Stevenson Club Hockey bandwagon because they're on fire right now, while Navy's D1 team split the weekend, Navy's D2 won, and the Navy Women swept their sets. Towson started off their season with less than favorable results, but it's only the beginning of the year. Scotty Wazz is back for season two of the Chesapeake Hockey Week. He'll run down all the things you need to know ahead of the season of hockey in Maryland. The Maryland Black Bears are back for season two and the returnees and new faces could make this team one to watch in the entire NAHL. Team Maryland had some big news about their 18U program, as well as trying to get better for their next EHL season.
