Face Off Hockey Show

This week, Scotty Wazz talks about the continued roll of the Maryland Black Bears as they went ahead and swept another weekend for themselves. Team Maryland had another epic OT game and solid showing at Showcase, Stevenson's NCAA programs had exhibitions, and club hockey aplenty. Also, a good look at the protocols the University of Maryland has for their club hockey programs. 

This week, the boys are set on the opening few games of the NHL season, while talking about the game presentation of both ESPN and TNT. They'll talk about all the captains from the Rangers, the first threes of Olympic nations, while Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey joins us to talk about all the contract extensions and trade possibilities. 

This week, Scotty Wazz will talk about the sweeps week that was for the Maryland Black Bears, Team Maryland, and Navy Women's squads, as they call come away with four points on the weekend. Navy's men had a rough go at NYU, Loyola's Women with another dominant victory, Navy's D2 Squad with a thrilling win, and Towson and Maryland's Women with a barnburner of a game. 

This week, the boys welcome on Sean Leahy of Pro Hockey Talk on NBC to look at the Robin Lehner situation with the NHL and NHLPA, what to look for in this upcoming season, Stanley Cup picks, and Award Winners that are a guaranteed lock for the year. 

This week, Scotty Wazz talks about the Maryland Black Bears big travel weekend, while Team Maryland put themselves on display at the first EHL Showcase and set a tone going forward. You want some college hockey?? We've got that-- Navy Men's and Women's team open up, Stevenson D2 goes to North Carolina, while the D3 is at home. Maryland Men's and Women's teams played, UMBC retook the ice after a few years off. It's a bunch of stuff-- just look at that time!!

This week, the boys talk about the captaincy being stripped from Jack Eichel and the history of stripping captaincies. They'll have Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey chime in with where both Buffalo and Eichel go from here, as well as other news and notes from pre-season. Not only that, but the FOHSHL draft is a-happening after some mess-ups in the whole system. Thanks, Yahoo. 

This week, Scotty Wazz talks about the split that both the Maryland Black Bears and Team Maryland had in this week's games, including some rematches from Divisional Finals. Towson's men's squad went to Mercyhurst and came back with four points. College hockey has started for the women squads of Maryland, starting with the Battle of Baltimore County and adding the Navy to their conference. Big wins for Stevenson's D2 and D3 ACHA outfits, while the Terps men fall just short in their game this weekend. 

This week, the boys talk about the new Arizona Coyotes' pitch to the City of Tempe, random names slated as goalies in training camps., and giving up on prospects a little bit too early. Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey will join us to talk about the RFA signings, players not getting vaccines, and wrestling talk. 

This week, Scotty Wazz talks about the Maryland Black Bears in Blaine in the NAHL Showcase, while Team Maryland started off their season on a strong note as the Black Bears were away. Towson and the Terps started their season, but it wasn't the best results against Delaware. UMBC announced their first game in a while, while a Mash-Up Women's tournament took to the ice in Laurel. 

This week, the boys talk about the reach of college hockey-- what it should be, what it could be, and the downfalls of it. Lyle Richardson of Spector's Hockey will be on to debate about the officiating in the NHL and what can be done. They'll talk about Norm Macdonald's career, the TNT NHL crew, and how to deal with hotel WiFi.
