Face Off Hockey Show

This week, Scotty Wazz reviews all the happenings from the Black Bears taking a split in New Jersey against the NAHL's top team and the issues with the stream and those who host the stream. Team Maryland went up to Connecticut and took two wins, as did the Stevenson women's team; but they stayed on campus to do, as did the Naval Academy D1 men. Let's not forget the Towson men's and women's, Terps men's and women's, Loyola women's, and Stevenson's club teams either. We are closer to this week's show than we are last week's show. The first hour and a bit is the Chesapeake Hockey Week, but after that-- the boys are joined by NBC's Sean Leahy to talk about the quotes coming from Don Cherry and Hilary Knight, the Ilya Kovalchuk thing, the rookies of the league,and just the general fantasticness that happens when they're all together. 

This episode, Scotty Wazz talks with Josh Fusco, head coach and GM of Team Maryland in the EHL. They go over Josh's turn to head coaching, his time in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, as well as the feeling of having so many familiar faces follow him to Team Maryland for this new chapter in his coaching career. They also talk about the little things he did to make the player feel more comfortable in their home rink, as well as how being so close to an NAHL team works for motivation of the players. The Black Bears had a task with three games in three days against the Generals, Team Maryland had yet another EHL Showcase, while Navy's D2 and Women's squads had tournaments of their own. He'll also touch on the Stevenson's men's and women's D3 team, as well as the club entry; Navy's D1 played; as the the Towson men and women's teams. This week, Scotty Wazz will get into the weekend that was for the Black Bears, that yielded divisional honors for one Black Bear. The Navy D1 had a sweep of a weekend, as did the Lady Terps. Not such a great weekend for Navy D2 or the Green Horses of Stevenson, but Towson's men's squad split a weekend, including a long shootout finals, while the battle of Ice World happened between the women of Towson and Loyola. This week, Scotty Wazz will fight through audio issues to talk about the weekend that was in Maryland hockey, especially the Black Bears getting their first win in Jamestown in franchise history. Team Maryland was back for some home cooking, while Navy D1 and D2 didn't have great hosts for their games. Stevenson's Club Mustangs keep rolling along, while Towson is getting better and better as time passes.
